EMO is back in Hannover

February 01 2012
After the Italian edition, the fair has renewed its international dimension

Yet again and quite clearly showing through the years, EMO has become more of a meeting point than a showcase of new products and technologies, besides a few isolated examples. The first fact widely perceived, not only by professionals, has been the definite absence of Far East visitors, primarily Chinese.

This fact, also seen by the media, confirms a moment of reflection which is happening in this globally important area. Emo still allowed the Machine Tools division, including Innse Berardi & Ingersoll, to collect important contacts, which offered good opportunities that will develop over the coming months, given the type of products offered. Compared to the last edition, we also perceived some positive signs from companies with the intention to invest, especially in heavy industry, a sector specifically covered by Innse-Berardi.

All these signals are conditioned by the global economic situation, and surely will improve after the unravelling of this huge situation.
